I think the 99-00 are rated at less power, the 01-02's are 380

I have played with lightnings around here, and what a joke. I have driven a few HD supercharged trucks, I think a stock V6 camaro would dust it.

Lightnings might be great trucks modified, but I am anything but impressed with them stock. There was a guy here that really thought he was bad and tried to race everyone in sight. After getting dusted a few times, and never really outrunning anyone he raced, he has a full NOS kit installed on the truck. All I know is the next time I raced him all I saw was taillights. This was way back when they first came out supercharged.

There not **** modded.. Hell even the first few years they come out with the supercharged lighting they were recalled for blowing the spark plugs out of the head! Leave it up to ford to build some bull shat like that!

I've owned a couple of L's great trucks, I'm not going to call BS because its always possible that the guy wasn't racing or the truck had mechanical issues. But then again a cold air intake and a corvette servo could add some serious power.
