Most accidents aren't caused by someone wreckless driving or driving too fast. When it comes down to it, the cause of the accident was the driver not paying attention.
I drive fast way too much but I always pay attention. On a slow day i'll see 1 or 2 deer a day. on a busy day I'll see upwards of 12 or so. Seen about 12 or so total in 4 different spots on the same stretch of road. I've never hit one cuz I pay attention. Scan fence line to fence line non stop.
I'm usually on the breaks hard when I see a few in the ditch and cars coming from the other way don't even notice.

I don't drive as fast as night obviously but it's only a matter of time before one decides to come out of no where and make the leap.

 

Well I hope they never decide to make the leap.

 

I think we should rename this thread to idiots drivers and their dumbshit stuff they do on the road.

I hear you there. Tx is full of D/A drivers. we have a few rearend wrecks every day during high traffic due to dumb *** people texting and driving. I watched it happen about 6 months ago. A young girl texting and not watch the stopped traffic ahead ate the *** of a F-250 and I could only think your Dad is going to kill you when he sees the car.

 

yes to the stupid people thing. and yes to the stupid people in daddy's car thing. especially people in their daddy's chipped diesel. an exhaust and a chip instantly means it's untouchable. when they loose they either roll up their windows, or instantly accuse you of cheating with naaawwwzzzzzz. god, people are ignorant.

 

The middle finger is trusty and reliable, however there is nothing like seeing the look on dumbass's face when there is 160db horn blasting their eardrums out. My horns have gotten a workout over the past few days.
