Well...I finally got a chance to use the nitrous on the street. I was coming home from my girlfriends house when I heard someones exhaust SCREAMING going the other direction...so I turn around real quick and catch up to a red WS6. There are 2 guys in there, and I ask them if they want to run...both guys agree "yes" without hesitation, and continued to inform me that they just beat a vette about 5 minutes earlier...they asked me "are you sure you want to run", so I say "you should be asking yourself that question"...and they laugh at me (They dont know I have nitrous!!!)...So we cruised slowly until we caught the next red light. We decided to go from a 20 punch because we knew that both of us would spin like crazy from a dead stop. He honks 2 times and we go on the third...He jumped out on me about a half car length, and then I hit the switch, and I started to pull hard...A few seconds later I was laughing at him as I was passing him...and by 110mph I had just under 4 truck lengths on them!!! WOOOOWOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I cant believe I just beat him that bad...I dont know what he had done to it, but that car was louder than my truck even when I was on the juice. I tried to stop them after the race so we could talk about it, but he was a sore loser, and did a ricer fly-by and then turned off. I dont know what mods he had, but it sure sounded mean as hell. I'm so pumped right now, it makes me want to get back in the truck and look for someone else to race!!

 

So are you going to run me when I come through Dallas?

Dont know if Ill be much competition with a VERY fresh motor and not tuned at all really but it would be fun.

 

Yeah...we can meet up. I just started my new job today, so hopefully I am off that evening. Do you know about what time you will be in the area, or is that undecided yet??

 

Probably around 6 or so cause after I leave Dallas i have to go to Austin that night so Im going to try and get there early. Dont know exactly what time Ill be going through there for sure though.

 

let me get my 6.0 installed in my truck and we can run......i think it would be a good race....

 

Just let me know when you set the meeting time. I will check the work schedule...hopefully they dont have me working that night. I dont have any of my schedules yet because I am still doing orientation and training stuff.

 

If you live in the Dallas area, then lets take them to the track. I really dont like to street race unless someone just really pisses me off. This WS6 was just too tempting because of the way he revved his car at me when we were going opposite directions...and I had not raced anyone yet with the 125 shot, so I had to try it on someone.

We can run them on motor first. I'm really not the type of guy that races for bragging rights...I do it for fun, and to see how I compare to the competition. Win or lose its always a blast, but it is more fun when you beat something that should have beat you!!

 

I wont be able to spray

Not going to risk the new motor without a tune in it that is setup for the spray. It would be fun for sure. If my truck was in top shape and broke in good then I would run oyu on motor so it would be more fair. I honestly think you will take me with a tight motor and no tune running pig rich.
