Ok, to start off i have a 04 sss with lt, true duals with no cats, a 160* thermostat, e fans and 4:10s on heavy a$$ 22's. servos and a shift kit.
Oh yeah, a new D1sc with a 3 core ic and a zippy mild tune on about 7-8 pounds of boost.

so after i installed it a week or two ago, i ve been wondering what it will do in the 1/4.
So i was headed over to my moms yesturday and a srt-8 jeep pulled up next to me at a light. he gave me a nod and said "clean truck". so the light turned green and we both take off slow. he eventually stomps on the throttle at about 30, so did I. I pulled him harder than i thought i was going to. we raced too about 80 and after all was said and done i had him by 4-5 car lengths.

I also got in to it with my buddies 06 tbss from a stop and pulled him by like 6-7 lenghts. yesterday also.
I was very happy with the results.
Im hoping that this ss will do a 13 in the 1/4. im at 5400 here in colorado
what do these srt-8 jeeps do stock. im sure his was.

Nice work! I know of a guy who has one and I think it runs somewhere in the low 13s all motor and like 12.7 12.8s on the bottle. he has some stuff done to it, i.e. headers, intake, and tune. Don't quote me on that, like I said I don't know him personally just through the grapevine.

 

Ive raced one of the new Jeep SRT-8's... I lost, i run mid 14's in the 1/4 im guessin they run low 13s mid 13s in the 1/4. Sounds like you have a great set up going im guessin low to mid 12s in your whip!
