are we talking about a nissan gtr? i thought those lil cars were worth a mid 7 in the eighth off of the show room floor on factory tires?

 

A guy at our local 1/8 was clicking off right around 8 flat prett consistantly... Then a few weeks later I saw him running again with AT LEAST a new exhaust system (heard the difference). Not sure what else was done but was running mid 7s starting out then was knocking on the door of some 7.0s on what appeared to be factory tires.


And yes, they are AWD.

 

First off F-22 is a man of his word. He was on time and was really early. All round nice guy. The race was close but our small 4300lb 3.8 v6 beat F-22 by a fender.

What exactly did you run against him? I must have missed it earlier in the thread.

That's pretty damn good for a 2wd truck on a 50K mi radial... I'd have to guess you guy's were in the mid to high 6 range...

 

I will say Mr F22 is run a tire that has being treated to soften it and may it hook. You could see it and smell it. The truck is not a daily driver for sure. But can be driven on the street.

 

Mike thanks again for comming out. I can't believe that car leaves so hard in the heat. I knew I was doomed the first pass. Could'nt put any power down the first 200 feet. I was more upset about my times than I was the money. I tried 5 more times after you left and it got worse. Congrats, you did it.
