guys that i beat always ask what i have, i just tell them intake and exhaust. i had one guy call bull, i said "ok, i have a programmer". i just dont feel like telling other guys i have a tune and fans, etc. cause then they are going to go out and find custom tuners. then i would be just one of those regular guys. what do you tell everybody?

I tell them it's just got a turboed 4.8 and some other stuff, most people, that's all they can grasp anyway. If it's a true, car/truck guy, I'll tell them everything I've done to it. Some times, I can even sell them stuff, so its good for business,

Depends on who's asking? For most I'll tell em and even show them how I hid my NOS system. The exhaust is hard to hide but alot of people ask "you got a chip in there" and thats when I know not to waste my time explaining it, I just say nope no chip and go about my way thinking to myself that if you don't know that you can't put a "chip" in 96+ OBDII vehicle then trying to tell you what I have is gonna go way over your head. I'm usually pretty willing to discuss my mods if someone asks and is interested and I take the time tto recommend PT.net to anyone wanting to know what to do to make theyre truck faster.

the words "flux" and "capacitor" have been uttered from my mouth a time or two... especially when it is some punk ricer or Guido m3 owner... that just got their *** handed to them by a full size truck!

lol, the last guy I raced (more like embarrased) pulled alongside me at the light and saw all the groceries and the wife in the passenger seat, asked me "what you got in that" all i had time to say was "a 5.3L?" lol, his expression was priceless....i know he's shopping for a new Chevy truck now.

im like alot of guys, ill tell you every last detail if you really want to know but, most the time i say gears and a cold air 
but if i know the guy might know something about trucks ill let him know but, as soon as "you got one them hypertechs" come out im like gears and a cold air man. Im like that one guy thinkin about keeping flyers in my truck and when they ask just go here google this 
personally i hate the "how fast does it go"? IDK 130mph "thats all"........sigh...... if you only knew buddy.
