I am not saying he is not full of BS, but arent the 97 cobras just like a 4valve 4.6, nothing really special? I don't think they started superchargeing them until 2000ish...

I will call bullshit as well. Im my truck I raced a white cobra 5 spd... He popped the clutch out too quick in to 2nd and he fell back about a car, but he held pretty well at my bumper till about 75 when I let off. I think this was right after I did my LTs.. I cant remember. All he had was intake and exhaust tho and it sounded pretty vicious. Had he got 2nd he probly woulda had about 1/2 a car on me

I'm pretty sure that 03 was the first year they supercharged the cobra. I believe the cobra engines and gt engines are completely different. I think one has two cams and the other has four or something to that tune.

03-04 cobras are supercharger with 4 valve engines, i know some cobras were 4 valve NA but i dont know if that dates back to 97

The 03/04 cobra's are the ones with serious power potential. The 97's are nothing crazy to write home about but even still his stock truck would not keep up at all and certainly would not put 8 lengths on the guy lol.

yes they are the 4.6 but are 305 hp, like the revs, still no way.. 2003 was the first year for the huffer....
