damn tundra spanked me!!
i hate to say it, but he spanked me HARD!!!!
i dragged the truck the other night, and was dumb enough to line up with a reg cab new tundra. i thought it would be closer than it was!
he ran a 7.85 in the 1/8th..... wow!
i was feeling bad, until he lined up with a c-6 corvette, and beat him by half a truck, this time running a 7.80....i think he had like a 1.8 60ft?
i asked about his mods......and he showed me. bone stock with a 100 shot dry system. damn that thing was haulin ***!!
i guess his truck is comparible to me with a built 6.0 and a shot of dope.... he had the 5.7, with a 6 speed auto and 4.30 gears stock.... i think he said it was 380 h.p.?? it was moving, thats for sure. i ended up running a slow 9.30 at 71, with a 2.3 60ft. i need gears and a locker bad!! i picked up about 2 tenths with the new cam, wheel spin included.

The place I work at cast cylinder heads for both Toyota V8s and all I can say is they're freakin big.We have fully built motors on display.I just cant remember if it's the 2UZ head or the 2GR head that goes on the Tundra.

no slicks, this bitch was on the TRD factory treads. i think they were 18", just regular all terrain tires. he claimed he ran 8.3's on motor...which i believe. he was handing out some spankings though, for sure.
there were some fully gutted race cars up there running slower than him. what a jerk!!
