come on man how many times have you raced from a 30 roll on the 1/4 or how many tracks are up hill or down hill, how many have different pavement and lean to the side. I also bet you hook perfectly on the street and can cut a 1.6 at a stop light. There are so many more variables on the street.
And if it was my story Id tell it any damn way I pleased

Ok, if the guy was the worst driver in the world maybe, but come on, a truck vs an 03/04 cobra? Not everyone is parrish.

Nice race bill, I cant get anyone to race me

thanks man

I just got lucky finding that one
Usually Im in the work truck when I end up beside something interesting

freedom,
like I said earlier, from my previous run ins they usually come blowing by near the end.
now thats 1/8th mile im talking about.
Theres a huge difference in 1/8 vs 1/4

no doubt he'd have eat me alive if we went to 100 or more
but we only went to about 85 or so
and he was pullin on me at the top of 2nd

so call BS if ya want
I could really care less

Maybe with a pulley swap, a FIPK, or slicks. Not stock. Mid to high 12's are common, but low 12's?

Still damn fast. I'm betting the OP caught him off guard a little bit. I could be wrong, since I have no clue what those mods he listed are or what they're worth power wise.

Keep it on topic guys. The kill is possible.. The street IS different then the track. My buddies Mustang and I are dead even at the track. On the street I don't stand a chance even with nitrous.

Different vehicles behave differently under different environments.

I tend to agree with the of guard part. You cant 'red light' on the street.

I agree, so if his truck is running a mid or high 13 and the Cobra spins too much or the guy can't shift it well; you've definitely got a race until the Cobra's top end kills you.

i seriously hope your not calling me a ******? I dont think ppl should jump to conclusions.. i was simply suggesting that MAYBE it wasnt a cobra. I'd like to see a video, ya that'd be cool.

edit... well actually you said you knew it was s/c'd and i think that sounds about right, he doesnt get you untill the top end, with ur mods, ya i can see that now.
