First time to get next to one last night on Beltway 8. Revved on him a little and he did it back with the normal little 4 cyl fart can and the whistle of the superecharger. So I stalled up as much I could and when the light turned green my tires chirped, his spun for about 2 seconds and by then I pulled a length on him. By the time I got to the 1-2 shift I had 2 lengths on him and kept him there until I let off about 95 because of cars up ahead. I was very impressed with that little car. He stayed right with me but couldn't overcome the torque down low from the V8. So the lesson here is mostly stock V8> supercharged 4cyl.

I was very impressed with that little car. If we didn't have traffic he may have started catching up because I don't have much left after I hit about 105 to 110. It will hit the speed limiter at 125 but after 110 it takes a while to get that extra 15 mph.

I dont see your truck running a mid 14 with the mods you got. I ran a 15.1 with a live Nelson tune, full exhaust, 3K stall and intake. Even with a bad driver they are going to trap 8-10 more mph then you, so your statement he just hung back there is

Believe what you want. I don't care what you think I run at the track, because the fact is, I don't go to the track. I'm talking about real world, stop light to stop light and that is what happened. Why would I come on the internet and lie about a race with a little car? "Unbelievable" as it may sound to you, what i wrote above is what actually happened whether you think I should be able to beat one or not.

i say it is plausible with a bad driver, espcially if he spun bad and the truck hooked. i ran a guy with a stock s/c cobalt, and he was at the back of my cab from the light up to about 85, both spinning across the intersection, him a little worse than me. i say good kill.
