well, i was cruising home yesterday after work, along comes this dude in a charger. i have to say it looked fonky, two tone paint, spoiler thing, ugly rims, "daytona" edition.

anyway, he is running through traffic trying to get beside me, i guess because i had my cutout open? i was just putting along, probably under the speed limit even.

the light ahead of us changes red, so its just him and i. i gave him a glance and he motions to race... which i was unsure of, being that i am out of nitrous at the moment.. but i figured i would try anyway.

i rev to 1500 rpm, light goes green, and i flash the TC and give it all i have. i hooked up pretty good, and he hooked up really good. we were dead even through first, i bark second and pull about 1/2 length, and pull another through second... we raced up to about 115 or so, i had a good 1 1/2 trucks on him. he was pretty angry, and i was happy. i feel like my truck is a turd on motor, luckily though it was fast enough for him!

we got to the next red light, and he rolled his window down, and said "damn! what do that thang got in it?" !! i told him a v-6, and rolled my window up and drove away.

havent gotten my sugar with a little coffee in it yet.

i actually used to have a ram hemi. it was pretty quick, but not like my modded truck. shitty gas mileage and high payments forced me to go back to GM.
