Default Audi A8 4.2

Those things claim a 6.3 0-60, well today one pulled on me at about 40 MPH. I was in second gear and couldn't back to first. I punched it and held on, he got about a foot on me between 40-50, then between 50 and 80 I put 5-6 cars on him. I pulled over in front of him because the road split and slowed down to 65, he of course, did the famous fly by!

That's surprising, because the Audi has a 6spd auto with really well spaced gears vs.your 4spd with a bad gap between 2nd and 3rd.What I'm trying to say is you should have walked him early on and been holding him off in the 60 to 80mph range.Nice kill.

Well, actually, early on I was way out of my powerband at 40 in second gear and I was worried because of where I was in the powerband, but this old LS1 works pretty well. Also, I barely get to third at that speed. The whole run was second gear for me. I looked up the stats and if you believe them, My sb/rc is lighter than the Audi by a hundred pounds or so.
