it can jump your house but better hope you don't break anything. Last I hard Ford was making it damn near impossible to get any warranty work done on them.

I hate to keep on sounding negative, but if you took a Raptor out to the dunes and tried to do some jumps that long travel trucks do, people would laugh. A Ford with softer shocks, baja-ish looks, and some all terrain tires. You can't haul but what...800 lbs. with the Raptor and they aren't even that fast. I've been reading up on them on RaptorZ or whatever the main forum is and they're a bit sad. A local guy spent almost $60K on his black/black crew Raptor, and that's ridiculous.

Yup overpriced mid life crisis. You could build a truck that would run circles around a Raptor in the sand for 1/4 of the price.

He might be a shitty driver but how hard would it be to run an automatic from a digg or better yet from a 20roll on low 1? He told me he took traction off, from what ive read and hear the best RTs are 09s and 10s, 11s and 12s are different idk about dodge but my friend is a dodge guy add a few bolt ons and they really wake up the 09 and 10s and i remember FLACO ran his stock and ran a 14.81(2011) stock and he is a darn good driver then he added long tube headers and a 100 shot and ran a 13.92 and sec run he did a 13.80 with 400 plus rwhp dodge needs to come out with a tune for them, but stock to stock the RT should pull my 6.2 Harley but it doesnt light weight 5.7 390hp 407tq vs a heavy 4 door 6.2 @ 411hp and 424tq youd think the RT would kill me out the hole but didnt go down that way im not a FORD or DODGE person but i do own a ford guilty lol the RTs are badass dont get me wrong but me and this guy have been trying to race for almost 3 months me thinking hes gonna get me but i was shocked of the outcome and ill post some videos of when my truck had 300miles and was giving my buddys charger RT a hard time with a custom tune headers intake and exhaust on his car raptors are way different seen and asked on raptor forums and most stock raptors are 10sec and high 9sec in the 1/8 in right at a low 9 no tune no nothing

First there is no difference between 09-11 RT except the 2011 have 22" rims. The 22" rims are aluminum and are lightweight the thing is rolling on 22" tires with short profile tires traction is very difficult, also 2011 was the begining of ecrpytion coding on their PCM which makes tuning difficult. Thats probley why you heard 09-10 were better. The tires and rims overall are shorter and lighter on the 2011 than 2009-2010 models which were 20's. The difference between 2011-2012 is the valvebody in the trans and programming for it to create a 6 speed trans, although its really not a 6 speed.

As far as the races.. The first race the buy smoked his tires bad at the start giving you the win. Last race was the same not as bad but the guy caught up and passed by 73mph. The middle race was a slight spinage from the Charger and he pulled away from you?

Flaco truck was raced in 100 degree weather that day he rana 14.81 at 91mph with traction control off and he said 4th gear fell on its face. My truck weighs 4720lbs which is not a lightweight at all! When he sprayed 100 shot he ran a 13.90 something but hit the limiter IE not tuned truck. His trap speed was for a solid 12 second pass. Its all in the tires. A lot of people thought te SRT10 rams were slow cause of the same deal. 22" no traction, but do bolt ons a good driver and bogart with DR and they will run 11's.

oh yeah that charger got me spinnin aint winnin lol im sure a better driver would have a different out come i noticed in ur sig u have an RT any tips on launching it? i thinking the problem with this guy in the Ram RT is he might be stalling it too high because on mine i can stall it to 1900 but if i launch like that till take off slow ford has it to where u press brake and gas itll cut power off for safey reasons u can hear it in the exhaust idk kinda gay but best way to launch mine is at 1000 and take off without no spin normally take the jump

yes it does matter on tires but in the streets its different its run what u brung im at 7100lbs both on 22s its fair, And im sure tuning those RTs their is no dought they would be slick from any point, and as for the SRT10s traction IS a problem and a good driver is a MUST in my 6.2L Denali when i was cammed Id give Hell to most of them from a digg and 20roll and on the highway theyd jump on me but id still creep up on them lil by lil
