I heard this week now the track is only going to be a 1/8th mile. But I still hope they build a 1/4 mile like they originally said, it would be nice to have a 1/4mile close to home.

 

Yep, sure do...not even a mile from me.

 

I heard somewhere that Screven was going to be a 1/4 mile by next year but don't know how true it is.

 

i might need to venture a bit south of SDR and check out these tracks you all are talking about...

It's rumored that Screven is gonna be a 1/4...all i've truely heard is that its gonna be longer than an 1/8th when they get done. I hope itis a 1/4 and not no 1000' ft. I think its supposed to be done early next year.

 

the track at golden isles speedway is only going to be an 1/8th....i was really hoping for a 1/4

 

They purchased enough land for a 1/4. I think like 430+ acres I believe but only they know what they are going to build.

 

Yeah I was told Screven was closing and it was suppose to be a 1/4 mile when they opened it back up.

But down in Golden Isles it would be really nice to have a 1/4 mile there, I bet it would hurt Douglas track alot since its only 1/8 mile.
