I have heard people doing that but never seen it. I'm sure it will work. There are a lot of people putting nitrous so I'm sure they have it down pretty well. The most important thing I would be worried about would be my fuel pump.

With a dyno tune they see your truck. If it is running out of fuel at say 4500 rpm and BB Mail order tune they don't know what your fuel is doing. Running nitrous it need plenty of fuel to be safe.

I say just work on what you can till its time to race. So what if his car on paper should outrun you, I've raced plenty that on paper should've out ran me. Lightnings, mustangs, camaros, gtos , challengers. Its more less about your setup and driving skills above the power. I've taken my buddy's lightning right after he got beat and beat the person he raced. Also I highly doubt it's making that power, and even if it is so what. Fords require more power to do the same thing a gm does with 100hp less. Turn wrenches, hook up the bottle, go race. And most ppl run Walbro 255s.

I had an aggressive mail order tune and ran a 100 shot(factory jetting) on it. Justin was fine with it and I just ran 110 to be safe. The tune was a 94 octane tune also. I ran about 10 bottle and the engine was dead sexy inside when I pulled it apart for the stroker.
