so im comin home this mornin and i see this guy revvin it up and actin all badass, so i pull up next to him and we take off and he pulls then he says pull in to the gas station. so i see what all he has done which is a chip, a k&n air cleaner, and a muffler. so i show him mine, heads, full exhaust, intake, and spark plug wires...haha... so he says well lets em up at the light. we lined up and when the light turned green i took off and i left him by about a car and so i had that one, the second one we took off from 55 and i left him by a abt a truck, the last one of the morning was from 70 and he beat me by abt 2 trucks. so a win a win and a kill. it was a good mornin

 

You beat him by a truck length for 2 races and on the last roll from 70 he beat you by 2 lengths. Were the first races up to about 60mph or something because it seems he would have pulled you had you both stayed in it. Maybe he sprayed you on the last race. Oh well...nice races

 

so dont 454ss with a chip muffler and filter run what like 14.8 or so if there still in good shape ? u ever got your truck to the track yet

 

see i was kinda confused myself abt it but he had no spray and my power is good till abt 65 then it gets shitty so i dont kno. i havent run my truck at the tracks yet but i wil soon. it looked like it was in good shape but i mean hell i didnt ask ne questions and i wasnt goin to. i mean he has a short bed and i have an ec so i was tryin to figure it out but oh well it was a win so i didnt argue. and as soon as i get a chance ima run the track and ill give u the times. and i mean that engine was prolly a high mileage engine so that could've been part of the problem.

 

well dont you guys have the same trannys . well you a 4l60e but him a 700-r4 which is the same thing . so rear end gears and powerband most have been what you got you . its a big block so its got tons of low end . but nice kill

 

i just have posi with the 3.42's i actually like it but i mean what did yall think when yall went from 3.42's to 3.73's. i want to get 4.10's but at the same time i dont.
oh and i found the hp on those and they came with any where from 230-270 and the tq was from 350-389 so i dont kno.
