I was messing with a guy on the interstate the other day, it was a brand new, red, 05 Honda S2000... paper plates and everything. We couldnt really race too much traffic.. we threw each other a few thumbs up and "nice car/truck" comments... come to find out, the guy lives at the top of my neighborhood, its not a bad looking car, just the big "H" on the front... lol.
Anywho, we got to talking... that motor makes 240hp and its a little inline 4... i was kinda impressed for it being stock. He hasnt taken it to the track yet, so I looked it up for him... 13.9?? and 0-60 in 5.4 sec? I think that'll be one hell of a race... probably dead even from a roll... he'll probably get me by a length from a dig tho... idk we'll see how good of a driver he is... i'll be back with details after tonite... but I was surprised to find those stats.

Yeah they are pretty quick I raced a 04 in my truck when it had the 5.3 cam full bolt ons and a 100 shot and I pulled one by about 3 lengths to 120 from a 15roll and he had some computer ****, intake, exhaust and some kind throttle body thing. They are quick.

They are pretty quick but the ought to be; they're damn rollerskates. I saw one at the dealership a while back (was a Chevrolet/Honda dealer, go figure) and got to fire it up in the showroom. Sales guy said it'd hang with a stock 'vette, to which I called
but yeah 240 ain't bad for a 4-banger.

lol crossfire vette maybe...
well i raced him last nite... from a 20 roll i got him by about 1/2 a truck length... it didnt pull much on the top end. From a dig we were about even, he was a pretty good driver too.. i wish i would have had my camera, oh well, maybe one day

Dont forget those things are incredibly hard to drive (correctly). The newer ones are not as bad as the early ones as they have brought the power band down to something more streatable. But to get 240 out of a 2.0 four banger naturally aspirated and still pass 50 state smog a lot of trade offs had to be made. They have a very steep ramp in there powerband and you must rev the hell out of them to get it to make power. Most people dont like seeing the tack around 9k so most people dont drive them right.

To each his own, but I would rather pay more to drive my truck then a little sports car.
