Ok the race hasn't happened yet, but my truck will be running in the next week and I'm putting some money down on this race, but I'm creating this to prove a point before hand.

I wish I could have made this a poll, but tell me who you think will win.

2003 SSS Tq.v2 cam, Circle D 3600, full exhaust, CAI, on 22's with 305s, 4l80e. Ran 13.7 1/4 at 99mph on 4l60. Dyno'd as is with 4l80e at 36X rwhp/ 35X ftlbs tq, 105 IAT

2006 GMC 2500 Dirtymax, 4 door, Bullydog powerpup, 6in lift, 37s on 20in wheels, 4in. straight

How did you put more down through an 80e

 

Id think you would win. That's not much done to that truck lifted and 37 isn't exactly a race truck.I'm sure its not bad for what it is.but for comparison (I know its different motor) but I had a dodge 24 valve that ran 12.33-12.39 consistently it was a 4x4 ext cab on 33s and I can tell you it took way more than a chip and exhaust to run that fast.

 

my bad I20, that was on the old tune. It dyno'd with the 80 at 33Xrwhp and just shy of 370 rwhp after some tweaking. but it ran 13.7 with the 4l60 on the old tune.

 

That's what I'm sayin. I sell performance diesel products and a group I sell to has a duramax with dual cp3 pumps, bigger turbo, larger injectors, radials, the works really.. and it runs high 11s. I would honestly say this truck would hit in the 16s but I wanted some more opinions.

i know you'll win.... i got a bolted 5.3 with heads, no stall and my roomies got a 05 cummins pushing about 650hp and from a roll anywere i can take it... and walk it after 100 if i had a stall so id say u would win
