Well, it just so happens that I'm out of school now. Passed my boards. Officially an LPN. Yay. MONEY! Found myself a 00' Dakota 5.9R/T for 8500.00. Dealer Maintenanced, all documentation for that. 81k miles on the Clock. Never seen rain on purpose. Garage kept. IMMACULATE. How could i pass that up? Came with bigger rotors. I put on a 160 t-stat, AEM Brute Force CAI, Dynomax exhaust from Cat back, 90/10's up front, Ranchos out back, Competition Engineering Adjust-A-Links... more to come are headers, underdrive pulleys, E-fans, wider tires (like a 285 or 295?) and maybe a bottle? I'd rather go Fo/In though. What do you guys think? They say that the easiest way to get from Point A to Point B is to copy someone already at Point B. Demon's R/T looks like a good Point B right now! I think All Motor is more fun anyhow. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!

WooT another adition to the R/T community. i learned everything i know from the guys over on the Delphi forums, and i'd strongly suggest you go out there. here's the website. http://forums.delphiforums.com/dakotart/start sounds like a great truck! dont look to hard at my truck tho. ill be poking at low 13's. lol. the general consensus is that UD pullies are a waste of time on our trucks. headers are uber expensive and there are only a couple companies. one of the popular choices pph's, or mopar headers (you'll find out all this stuff on Delphi as well) are not being made any more. a good alternative to these and often considered better are the Spintech headers. 1 5/8" primary mid-length. the majority of people go headers, TB, Intake manifold (mopar M1 2bbl), and full exhaust. after that it's all in what you want out of it. alot go with a 4.56 gear and a larger stall. dang trucks are expensive. if ya got anymore questions ill help you out here what i can... but you'll find out so much more on Delphi it's not funny.

oh, here's a quick mod list off of my truck. just bought my new motor, putting it together now.

2.02 R/T heads (a mopar performance piece, stock magnum heads are 1.94 intake) the heads are unported as of yet... ill work on that later lol
stainless valves
.600 lift springs
1.7 mopar RR's
mopar M1 intake
open 14x3 KnN
2600 rpm stall
210/216 510/510 - 112lsa
Spintech headers
full 2.5'' mandrel bent exhaust, X piped. flow'ed
that covers the big stuff... when i get it together and running ill give it a 1/4 mile romp to see what it does.
