What I didn't explain is the tree lot only being a few hundred yards from my house. The truck has to earn my trust first. Then real trips.

That's a nice looking tree!
I was expecting a Charlie Brown sized Christmas tree in that 5' foot bed

Small tree, big price. Honestly I dunno how $200 a pop is remotely reasonable lol.

Mechanically, yeah. The intake manifold is giving me worse issues than I expected though. Fueling goes dead lean on any tip-ins. For some reason Holley oriented the injector mounts so that it sprays straight down instead of on-axis with the port. The LSA problems are back to haunt me. I should be able to calibrate around it this time, but that's a hell of an oversight...

$200 Wow

Got married in 1979 being young and money was tight... first Christmas me and the wife went out in the woods and she watched as I dropped a ceder tree. Now that indeed was a Charlie Brown Christmas tree! She thought it was "romantic" and I saved some dough so it was a win win

Soon as I got it on the road, it was off the road again. Since I found I can't get a lot of the GM/supplier parts I need, like a power steering fluid reservoir, I had to outsource a lot of new parts. Picked up a Tuff Stuff pump to hook to a nice reservoir and AN lines and the pump sounds like it's got one foot in the grave already after like 4 miles of driving. Which is basically what every 2000s F150 sounds like. I'd have made some steam tonight if I didn't expect the pump to turn into an oil bomb in my engine bay. Gotta find a new pump tomorrow, hopefully.

holy crap!! we also paid that much for a tree... but this is its 3rd year of use, and it has built-in lights & pine cones.
with how much we work & moving every few years, a fake one just made sense for us.

This truck makes me smile! My tree was 120 and they grow them less than 3 hours from my house I can understand if they have to ship them a long distance but dam. Still had to pony up and buy one for wife and my little boy, next year we go fake and stop the nonsense...
