I tell myself that every time. Then 2 becomes 3, 3 becomes 4, and 4 becomes 10 and it's all over.

Had some software snafu's and then my computer hiccuped this weekend... pain in the ***.

From what I can tell the throttle body is a bit of an air leak... i was at a desired running airflow of 0 once warmed up and idle was high. I lost the log so I can't look back, but I'll take another stab at it this week.

Alright another quick update here.

I started tuning for the TPIS 102mm and ran into some issues. Luckily I am not dealing with reduced engine power from it not being calibrated correctly as most have in the past. What I do seem to be dealing with, however, is a TB that doesn't seem to have a very good seal between the blade and the throttle opening itself.

When logging the other night my idle was about 300 RPM too high after making the appropriate adjustments for TB size. The engine desired running airflow was at 0, meaning it was already getting more than it wanted with the throttle closed, and timing was nearly 10* low, another indication that the PCM was doing everything it could to reduce idle RPM. It's a bummer that the fit and finish isn't a little better on the unit I have. I could tell I was going to be running into this issue prior to installing it as there seemed to be a visible gap that was much larger than a stock TB between the blade and the inner diameter.

On the plus side, TPIS gave me some great news on the phone yesterday. They told me to send the throttle back for them to inspect it. They will see how tight the tolerances are and if necessary put in a new blade for me.
