Man... I dont know. 10's would be a LOT for this blower. This is a lot of truck to get moving.
I hate making "excuses" or coming up with reasons why it could or should be faster. That said... here goes nothing lol:
1) My 60' leaves a lot on the table. I feel with the power I make I shouldn't be too far from a 1.60 if its spot on. That's a far cry from the 1.75 I had on this run. I've already made some tune changes to help this.
2) Next is I know there is even better weather to come here in New England. It can only help... and it tends to help a LOT.
3) Also, my timing was surprisingly low. Between BKR knocking down timing off the line and then IAT's taking away from top end timing it wasn't where I wanted it for nearly the entire run. I wrote a new tune for the track and I forgot to mess with that table unfortunately. In 3rd gear when I was close to 15PSI I was running only 13.5* of timing. I'd bet it will take 15.5 in that situation very safely... another area where I left a lot of power on the table.
4) Finally... I still run the 222/226 cam. Not that its 'wrong' clearly, but its not 'perfect'. Even just a few degrees of change would make a couple noticeable ponies for me. If I was going down this path again I would have had it biased a little more toward boost knowing it would have still run strong NA. Maybe a 221/228 114+3 being more of a 'compromise' than what I have now.
If I can nail down a 1.60, and grab all the power I have down the track (while keeping it safe... relatively
) I think its actually possible to see an 11.3x. Insane by any standards.
All that said... I can think of an extended cab who has a few of those issues sorted out who is in a great position to reach that 10 second target. We wouldn't want to mention any names and add to the pressure though, would we, Tim?

I hear ya well I heard of ppl running 20 range timing on tvs 2300 but then again it was a forged motor and he had race fuel plus meth. But I think it'll be nice to see a tvs 1900 go 10s especially in a 4 door.

Yea race gas is a game changer. I don't plan on going much further than 16 or MAYBE 17*. 17 makes me uncomfortable though to be honest. I feel happy with 16. Of course we will see how it performs like this and go from there. I just don't want to be greedy.

Yea you're right I need to make sure I don't go overboard.
From what I have seen in other combo's like mine, 16* shouldn't be pushing my luck too bad. We will see how it runs. I've been slowly creeping it up by 1 or .5* in certain areas to make sure that its going to take it without any huccups.
