Our PCM can't switch back and forth. You would need separate tune files and have to swap over when really really low on fuel.

Not sure what you mean there...

But if you can't get e85 there and you're tuned for it yes you'd have to bring a shitload of it lol

He is probably referring to the flex fuel sensor you can wire in.

Just pulled the trigger on some adjustable Rancho RS9000XL's for the back. I'll have those and limit straps next time out... hopefully it will do the trick off the line and get me a sub 1.7 short time

Do all of that, plus get some leaf spring clamps. Clamp the front of the overloads.

You may likely end up with traction problems with a hard launch on your street tires. Oh, what a terrible problem to have....

Your mph tells me that you should be able to run an 11.6, just need to sort out the suspension & tune for a good 60 ft. The rest of it will fall into place.

I agree... its just horrible

There is some left in the tune. I think I can add a little bit of timing as boost comes in, and I should be able to get away with another * or so down the whole track. Right now I am running 14.5* WOT with BR7 plugs, meth, 13 PSI, and 10:1 compression. I don't want to get too greedy, but I don't want to leave too much on the table either.

It's gonna be hard for me to 60' like you did with the longer gears of the 80e. This trans tends to help with speed but make the 60' even harder. However the 1.788 I got on my best run (1.75 leaving the line softer on my other run with less wheel spin) leaves a lot on the table. I would think a 1.68 is totally within reach, and I'd love to see it sub 1.65.

So Roger what do you accomplish by clamping the front of the overload spring? I assume that tends to eliminate axle wrap the same way traction bars would? DO I want to have them clamped at all times or just when I race?

Poor man's traction bars. It will help your 60 ft. Only clamp them at the track, it will ride stiffer.
