I'm in a awkward spot. It took me 5 years to get the Camaro where it is today. I hate the idea of someone else enjoying the car when I put in all of the time/labor and never got to enjoy it myself. On the flip side, at this point I've invested so much that I'm afraid to take it to a track and put it in the wall. I see resto mod 1st gens listed for $100K with nowhere near the parts mine has. Thankfully I don't have anywhere near that much invested in the car LOL. I'll keep watching the classifieds. I have an extra heads/cam/blown 6.0 sitting on the engine stand with no plans.

My toy box isn't big enough for all of my toys. I'm working from a 2 car garage.

Could the S10 Sit outside or do you live in an area that doesn't allow it?

I’m in houston. Keep your toys in the garage, otherwise they become someone else's toys.

I hear you man. My 70 nova is in the garage with my truck. My wife was sweet enough to move her mercedes out of the garage and into the driveway.

they run best just before they blow! it was running amazing when I suddenly lost cam signal around 4900 RPM at WOT. A new cam sensor later, I still didn't have cam signal. I snatched a valve cover off and turned the motor over and my rockers aint rockin I don't plan to pull the timing cover until the engine is sitting on a stand but I'm guessing i just broke my first LS2 timing chain.

are timing chains a weak point after adding a blower? i can see how the added accessory could put more stress on the chain. This is my first blower deal. it is a 3.6L on top of a 408 pushing 13 psi.

Just an excuse to possibly drop compression, open the rings and pulley down some more no s10 anytime soon

I wouldnt say its common, but there is a reason the Corvette guys upgrade them for road racing.
I would upgrade the whole timing set to at least a billet set like the Rollmaster or the JP performance. They both have billet steel gears and an IWIS chain.

The doubler roller is nice but requires shiming the pump to get the double chain to fit and clearancing the cover.
