Twin Turbo F150 5.0 Coyote Build
Thought I would start a dedicated thread to document the build progress on my soon to be turbocharged F150. Late last year I bought this 4x4 truck with 2900 miles. Its a 2013 STX 4x4. The previous owner had lowered it, installed caltracks, and added a lot of custom touches to the truck. When I got the truck, I loved everything but the power. Coming from a tuned Ecoboost F150, I really missed the low end torque and power that I had become accustomed to. When I found out that EDP, a local turbo shop was looking to get into the F150 business I contacted them and offered up my truck. Here are some of the pictures that were taken of the truck over the last couple years and the turbo build progress so far. I'm beyond excited!!!

Cool build! I have a friend that has an ecoboost f150. It's pretty awesome. I love that you can't even tell it's running, and for a factory truck, the thing moves!
I used to have a Focus ST with a mild tune. My only complaint was the lack of mechanical differential in the transaxle. The car would have been so much better off if it had one.
Looking forward to the build up. I don't know anything about these engines.

Thanks for the replies. I can't wait to get it finished and on the dyno. I have had a few GM trucks over the years and always wanted to turbocharge them. My Ecoboost was a blast but it really lacked power in the upper RPMs and sounded not so good. Got real lucky finding this truck and knowing the right guy to do the build. Ill update as we get it finished up.
