I hadn't been on for a while but catching in on this thread is frickin awesome! I had never even thought about boosting an I5... I agree with most that different is beter but there's no substitute for cubic inches.. I know some say "bullshit" butttt... I call bullshit on the bullshit because take the same boost scenario on a larger motor... holy absofuckinglutely bad *** colorado! I cant wait to see the rest!....
Been thinking about boosting my 5.3, theres alot of builds on here.. enough to make deciding set up difficult! But seeing your swap and other set up's you've done.. I am now motivated!!!

update video. transmission is in, truck starts and runs with p12/megasquirt. i didnt have to modify the the key switch like most or change the gas pedal for the drive by wire to work. i mounted the old i5 trigger wheel off the stock crank on the lm7 balancūer and made a crank position sensor bracket to read it. AND IT WORKS!!!!!!. hell i dont even have a check engine light lol

i need to make or buy a 3 bolt to 4 bolt throttle body adapter and throw the i5 throttle body back on it.
