The converter is staying locked when you tap the brakes. At low speeds, it will lock/unlock. It will lock as you are slowing for a redlight, bogging the engine down. Put it in nuetral and back in drive, and it will unlock until you come to the next red light. It doesnt slip or anything strange, shifts fine while driving.

Sounds like a TCC tune issue.

Nope. Put the old trans tune back in it and its still doing it.

Met up with wheatley tonight and did some logs. Converter is in fact locking at low speed(under 2mph) and wont unlock unless i put it in nuetral, or accelerate, then it unlocks and drives fine. Its not showing it lock and unlock in hptuners. We disabled tcc lockup altogether, and it would still lock at low speed. Any ideas?? Im stumped.

Update: still driving it. Trans is still acting up. Ive now got 740 miles on it. No issues so far.

Probably completely unrelated but I had this issue after I swapped out my throttle body for an ls7 tb. It needed an idle relearn or something to that effect. Sounds exactly like the problem you are having.
