Oh you dog you! I did say do it ill do it

Is 3.73 what you have in there now or are you swapping them out for 3.73s?

You're a bad influence on me. When's that tru trac going in? Are you planning on doing that yourself?

Staying with the stock 10bolt and 3.73s that are in there now. my truck is 4wd so im not gonna spend too much time on suspension and driveline stuff right away. Front diff just got a rebuild and the driver side hub will be replaced soon.

With over 160K, its likely to let go in stock form....

Honestly, I would start to save some money for a built transmission before it leaves you stranded, because it will.

Ya that was just an idea cause the billet input and output shafts are on back order...so imight have to buy a whole trans instead of just parts or just do an 80 swap

The only upgrades my silverado SS trans had were a shift kit/servos and TBTC and it was still running great when I sold her with 40K+ SC miles(92k+ total miles). I've got a book on the 2000 trucks that say the computers don't have the torque managment table or whatever it is that helps the trans. That would be something to consider. In my SS I think Zippy didn't remove that totally from the tune and she never had a problem. I guess how much you beef up the trans depends on plans/time table. If I had kept the SS I would have added a better converter and upgraded the trans so I could run more boost. I ran around 7 lbs with the magnacharger(3.0 pulley). People told me any more boost and my trans probably would not have lasted.

7 & 10lb springs are coming with the kit, think Ill stay away from a boost controler for now and run straight spring so I dont tempt myself lol. still need to figure out where I can get trans parts from if anyone can help me out on that!!! Going to try and get my diff, cover, and studs installed this week and hopefully my fans soon. Can anyone tell me whether or not I need to get a bigger alternator with LS1 fans in a '00 silverado? Currently have a baby 400 amp system that i may upgrade to 600-800amps. Should I go ahead and get the 145amp alt?

Nice! Those wheels are light and look good. I considered them myself, but shipping them to AK stopped me.
