It has a latching mechanism at the tailgate end and Velcro on the sides. The latch mechanism is adjustable to add or reduce the tension on the vinyl top. I paid $193 for this one and I’m super happy with it. It’s roll up with sewn in metal cross supports.

i had great luck with my old roll-up cover for ~10yrs... until i started driving through WY & SD all the time. after the wind ripping it up into the air three times over the span of a month, i coughed up the cash for a hard cover.

that only to say: just factor in how windy it is where you live/drive before pulling the trigger on one. middle-TX should be alright for a softie.

Still haven’t started on my ls swap on the s10, mostly due to it being winter and I don’t have garage space with my Harley and dyno in there. So the last few weeks I spent clearing out my pole barn and this weekend my buddy and I poured a slab in it. He’s been doing concrete for like 20 years but mostly foundation work. It was really cool to take on this project and I’m super excited to get it all finished up. Going to be putting a 2 post lift in here next month. Also I’ll be putting up all new led wiring and redoing all the current wiring in here because it’s a total rats nest currently.

I have been buying some of the little pieces I’ll need to finish the swap though, got a crank spacer to run the 700r4 trans. Enough materials to build my full exhaust using a 2015 camaro zl1 npp muffler.

This is after about a week of already clearing **** out of here.

6 yards of gravel

Got 10 more yards of gravel for the other side and to ramp up to the slab. Probably going to get 20 more to gravel a driveway around to the shop.

I still need to clear out the loft and build a railing for it and ladder that I can attach to it. I’m planning on building some doors from corral fencing turned on its side using gate hardware for hinges. It should be all ready to go by summer time though.
