Looks great, I'm always a fan of the SAS once these things go lifted.

Thanks guys, the suspention was all done at black rock fab by a buddy of mine kyle. He designed it, plsma cut, press broke and welded all the pieces. The frame plates 3/16 and all the pieces are 1/4 or 5/16 thick. Alot of time was spent on this part of the built. Its well worth going the extra mile, the way its setup it drives and handles like it never did before. Their wasn't anything spared, the diff covers are even fabbed quart larger 1/4 plate. The only thing left to do on the suspention would be put the steering shaft brace on. The steering is all new also, i used a new gm pump, hoses and had the steering box ported and tapped for hydro assist. Then a 2x8 cylinder was mounted on the axle, the steering box is connected to the ram with 2 hoses. So the steering is helped turn the big tires. Here are 2 pics, the left pic is of the diff covers, air bag mounts and the new shock mounts. The shocks on the rear are foa 2.5x12s, revalved/rebuild and seem to work pretty good. Any problems with them and it will get kings there too. the left pic is before the new exhaust was done and before the sanding and painting. The right pic is the wheel well with a new set of fender liners. I have about a hundred pics of this build, i didnt want to go too crazy and bore anyone. I dont see alot of lifted trucks here..

I wanna see that steering setup.

And yeah not many lifted trucks on here with big tires, I used to be one of them.

GREENSIERRA is the largest truck on the forum with something like a 7 inch suspension lift and a body lift. I'm sure he will chime in on this thread sometime.

Crank up the boost and get meth! Lets see what this thing can do in a heavy truck.

Here's your laundry list:

A cam (I can help you with that)
8 rib pulley system
meth
4" exhaust

Do you have anything done to the 80e?

The kit is from west texas offroad, redneck ram. Where you send your steering box, they port/tap and sell you the rest of the kit. The steering box is ported and tapped, mine was actually a redhead steering box. The 2 hoses connect one end to the box and the other to the cylinder. One hose is for left and one is for right. The pump you pull the valve out of the back where the hose screws in and drill the piston hole a little larger and stretch the spring. That way now it has more volume. If you look at the tierod mount its adjustable, that way it can be aligned and positioned where it needs to be. I have to do pics 2 ways tho, one of the kit with photobucket and the other 2 from my phone.

As far as the amount of lift the rear had 5 inch springs and a 2 inch shackle flip. So it sits right at 7 inches back there, these trucks sit lower in the front stock so to be leveled it has 8-9 up front.

I am very interested but some of this is going to have wait tho. A cam i looked at doing for awhile but wasn't sure what one to go with. What 8 rib pulley set up did you have in mind..?(link or pics). What meth kit is the best to go with, i seen many kits. I actually had a 4 inch exhaust kit on this before i put the new corsa kit on. Did i mention the corsa is way to raspy for my taste, its super quiet below 2k but gets crazy after that.

The 80e has been serviced about ev 25k, the fluid stays clean but i can see the temps are higher than they were when i actually start cranking it up. I have always used gm synthetic blend atf...cant remember the right name at the moment. I added a pml 3-4 quart more aluminum pan and a tru cool 40k cooler. The cooler was moved down below the intercooler. I wasn't sure to go with the transgo hd2 kit or not.

So, any info you can shed light on is greatly appreciated.

I would definitely get the HD2 shift kit.

As for pullies, look into innovators west. They make a nice kit.

The corsa system when catless can be pretty intense!

On the corsa kit subject i added high flow cats and a resonator, it helped but its still crazy loud with the longtubes. I was going to look for a quieter more sane muffler but its growing on me. The transgo kit is ordered, thats getting done when i have time in about 2 weeks. Any info on how to get it to shift easy tho and not chirp tires in every gear..? Like a orfice drill size..? I will look into those pullies but last time i looked they weren't too cheap. I have my crank pulley pinned, is that going to matter with new pullies..?

Having it pinned is a great idea. You may need to re-pin it when you install a new balancer or do a cam swap.

To that end I would upgrade to an OD balancer and install a cam all in one shot.
