Default Supercharged Sonoma

Finally got going on working on my Sonoma a few weeks ago! Dropping in a 4.8 with a magnuson charger on top. So far so good! This poor truck is hopefully getting tore down for the last time with this swap. Its had the original 2.2, then a carbed 350, then a 5.7 tbi and now the 4.8.

While doing the swap I decided to make the frame pretty again. All new brake lines, fuel lines, etc. Did a steering upgrade to a quick ratio box as well.

looking good. that 4.8 should run hard! sometimes I wish I spent my money on a 4.8 with FI instead of cubes, heads and nitrous.

Thanks! it should be a fun little truck again. I didn't realize how much id miss driving it. Talked to the body shop today and the cab is getting painted this afternoon. So I should have it back tomorrow or the next day. Shes getting all redone this go around so they will still have doors, new fenders, new front bumper, new hood, box and new rollpan to go. I just need the cab so I can finish the wiring and mock up the old fenders so I can measure for a hood. Hoping I can fit it all under a 2in cowl!!!
