Unfortunately I have not dropped it out to do the repair. I decided since I was going to be in there, I would change the 3.42 to 4.11, which also requires rebuilding the rearend. So I kept putting it off trying to find the time to do it. I've put around 20K miles on it since discovering the 'mud' and the vibration has only gotten slightly worse over that time. I need to bite the bullet and just do the gear swap or take it to some one to have it done.
