Fortunately, I'm on vacation till early April-ish. I ended up getting caught in a loop hole and had to take all my vacation days even those that I had banked. I had to cash in 187 days of vacation!!
If there is a goal or date in mind that I'd like to have this finished it's Mid march where me and a buddy are gonna go try for the Mojave Mile. Other than that I don't really have any plans to finish this at a break neck speed.

I'd have to do a mid engine install then because looking at the size of this gun...

It would fit perfect in my trans tunnel sticking out the grill no!!

I think the site should charge you for waisting Band width.

In fact I want a Refund right now for my time!!!

A little known fact! You lose less brain cells after a 6 pack then reading about what Julien screwed up this week

I tried to give you your refund last week but ended up chucking it in the dumpster, you had your chance man!!
And I'm here to make the mistakes everyone else would of made had I not shown them what NOT to do before hand. I'm doing this for the greater good!!

I used to work on that top gun. Look how much bigger the 30MM is vs the 20MM. Freaking Vulcan looks like a toy...wait...there you go. Just mount the Vulcan in there instead. I am sure you'll figure out. SO what you didn't end up with the only true armor piercing airplane gun.

Well I spend a good 6-7 hours today in my garage...but I got distracted and ended up spending a few hours shopping and installing this because
I got tired of washing my hands with a hose while squatting on the ground.

Anyways, I did get around to stripping more wax off the engine bay and front end, sorry for the blurry pics, they are from my Iphone.

I'm a little aggravated that I can't do the whole damn frame, I'm having to work around brake lines, plastic clips that break when I try to "carefully" move them, steering racks, etc...
I realized that I could easily spend 2 months just stripping the wax off the frame if I wanted to. I have to remind myself that I'm not building this car to compete in the Riddler and if there is some wax still on the underside of the frame between a bolt and a washer than that's ok.

Rear end is mostly completed though, just a few more spots of touching up and I can start painting the frame. I also decided on painting the firewall so I bought some acetone to clean that up before I paint over it.

Nice progress, 187 days of vacation is a nice bonus. Even if you had planned on banking them, still a nice payday. Enjoy the time off wrenching.
