Haha, ill get to that later, I still need to work on the torque converter still slipping issue. Good news is I havent seen any KR with this pcm, even using the TR6 plugs.

Heres a cool pic from just putting around...

I love this turbo, spool is a lot faster and more consistent. Also seems my boost controller is able to control it better.

yeeaaa....flux core, works in a pinch. Didnt think I would have to re-weld anything but the exhaust housing is slightly different.

Any progress with the converter slippage deal? I'm not any closer to an answer.

Need to disable the 1860 code and try again. To increase line pressure, is that the same as increasing the values in the shift table?

Far as I understand, shift pressure is independent of normal line pressure. Believe you need to mess with force motor current to fool the PCM into delivering whatever pressure you want. May have to lower your shift pressures if you decrease the force motor current values.

Can you disable 1860? I don't have access to it.

Yea, that code is not a problem, just forgot to when I changed pcm's.

Thats what im seeing. There isnt really a "base" pressure table. The shift tables are really just column index headers for the force motor current table anyway. I looked at a stock 80e tune and it is about 10% less in the FMC table than the 60e, so im going to try all 80e settings first and work from there

And the turbo glowing under the blanket was my point of the above picture

Ah thats right, you did the illegal stolen illegitimate relay trick thing. Mine's running an OS meant for an 80e and still has converter slippage problems

Looking at some of my old logs in my 04 with an 80e and a segment swap, the TCC slip is always at 0 when it should be. So I dont really think the os/method of making the 80e work is the issue.
