Pretty cool Stuff! How much do you lap on your splice connection? I.E. where your rear section is mating up with the shortend front section...

Are you just measuring for the leaf spring mount points, cutting the front one off and relocating it?

I am considering trying this to my long bed but instead of cutting it and removing a section I was thinking of removing all leaf spring mounts, bed mounts etc and justmoving them forward and cutting the rear section off of the frame to shorten it.
