I used to work for a machine shop and am still very good friends with the owners. It will be a joint effort between the 3 of us. It's pretty much the only way I can afford to go the built engine route. The initial plan of just putting a turbo on the 4.8 went out the window when I saw the condition of the 4.8 cam bearings.

Meh, all factory LS cam bearings look pretty shitty. I bet they were fine

I'm friends with some folks from Monore and we might actually know the same people.

Tom and Brenda are not doing the work. Full Boar Enterprises in Dodgeville are my go to guy's. Im the Snap-on dealer in town. So if your friends are mechanics i probably know them.
