I've only been in this house 5 years. The garage has really been the key in me being able to build this truck. I'd never had a workable garage before now.

And to finish it up. Sanded and buffed this morning. Then mar the bottom edge lifting it off the saw horses. WOOT!

Thanks guys. Learn as I go and feel pretty confident with painting now.

I am going have to redo some of it. Like I said I marred the bottom edge really good lifting it off the horses. I also sanded through a spot doing the roll pan that needs to be touched up. No biggies. I'll tear into them sometime soon and then should be happy.

Breeze, the tips are temporary. I'm going to redo the entire exhaust at some point. I'm with you I'll tuck them up some. I just don't want to go to far and then have exhaust collecting on the pan.

KySilverado,

Nice job on the roll pan. Sorry I missed this and just joined the board today. I own my own collision center and custom restoration shop so I can and will help with any advice in the future. I have to comment on one thing, however, I see how paticular you are and I know you are going to go back and redo that tailgate with a "real" gun and clear coat right?! Come on, no need to short cut now. That truck is gorgeous. Nice job.
