So if you are looking at 500 crank you can expect 420rwhp...You should be able to get close.
Mine makes 460rwhp but it is a 404.

Machine shop just called and they cant Balance the stock crank unless they do some crazy stuff to it because of the heavy rods. They are saying I should just get aftermarket crank because of what they have to do to it by adding heavy metal cores into the counterweights and because of the reluctor wheel they have to add it different from how they want.

Called EPS/Eagle/Mahle as in attempt to move this to a 408 stroker and seems I'm a day late. EPS cam just got made today and wasn't spec out for stroker. Geoff said I should try to change rods as adding weight to a crank is really not the best for a N/A. Called machine shop and they are telling me that even switching rods will still need cores as there is alot of balance needed. My machine shop knew yesterday about this and waited till today to call me. I could have maybe got a different cam for the stroker. But any ways My balance on te motor went from $175 to $325 with the added mallory metal. I guess better then the $1000 more the stroker kit would have run me plus balance. Ill take that money and get some gogo juice

Anyone down the road reading this trying to make good power on a 6.0 Just get a low mileage Lq9 (pay the extra) put L92/Ls3 heads on it, add cam and call it a day. Take my experience of finding the cheapest Lq4 will cost alot more in the long run.

Talked to a guy that has almost the same set up and his cam is almost the same as mine and hes putting 407 on a dyno. I could really care less for numbers and just want something that has power and fun to take off road.

Installed my first shift kit today.

Really like how hard it shifts and it has moved my shift points to a spot that seems good. City driving It would shift into 4th doing 30mph which seemed weird to me before the shift kit. Now need to be going at least 45 to hit 4th. Also WOT hold gears longer to get more RPM.

The one thing I did notice is that my Tow/Haul mode will not come on that I have Black bear set up as a performance Drag Class since I dont tow anything. Ill have to do some more looking. When I did start my truck I did get a check engine light with Code P108 and think it was due to starting and putting into drive on the lift as we where filling fluid. Cleared code and its gone.
