Default Project Walker 6.0 80e RCSB

To start off, this thing took way longer than It was supposed to and evolved into something entirely different. Bought a project truck (lesson learned) a pewter 2000 RCSB 4.3 60e with a blown engine. Came with an LQ4, 80e, pcm and harness, extra 3.73 g80 rear end, a set of 20s and a ton of random parts. It was supposed just be a stock swap.

We checked the engine out while we were there and it was tough to turn, got it home and it was locked. That's my luck haha. Tore it down found cylinder 7 full of fuel and a bent rod in that hole. So I decided to go ahead and build the engine. New rings and bearings, main studs, rod bolts, and pistons, ported ls6 oil pump, double adjustable billet timing set, btr cam, crohmoly pushrods, ls7 lifters, 799 heads, Trunion upgrade and a holley hi ram. Made almost 500 at the crank.

Circle d 3600 stall, flexplate, custom strange driveshaft, 14 silverado 9.5 inch 12 bolt, VAS bars, 2 inch coils in the front, shackles and hangers out back. Bought a set of 14 sierra reps.

Now I know it's not special but what makes this truck different is that it's run by Holley Dominator EFI and has the very first set of hooker blackheart stainless headers for a 99-06. The truck is very driveable and the engine management is amazing. Next up is a two stage dry direct port hi ram.

Now for pics

I'd say so. Got it in Gallatin. Thanks man. Only two thing I got that were good were the truck and the Trans. The rest was junk.

Have another hi ram that'll be going in soon. It's plumbed with a 2 stage dry direct port. I'll just keep throwing holley parts at it haha. Truck will get a 408 some day.

I am curious about this as well. I am about to pull the trigger on an XFI for mine, and the only thing holding me back is wiring the gauges. From what I've seen the 2000-02 was the easiest to be able to wire in, but nothing about how to do so. Seems to be uncharted territory in a way.

I actually gutted a cluster and painted the lense black. I'm using the holley 7 inch touch screen in place of the cluster and the small touch screen is mounted where the passenger airbag control is.
