finished off the driverside manifold
welded off using er347, two passes were made for each weld joint...the joints were beveled and a root pass along with a cover pass was done....this gives additional strength over just a single pass
using ER347 since its rated for use in high temp like on manifolds, use for turbines and has heat range of 1500 vs 308 where its only rated for 500
and heres a pic of the flange.......skittles- taste the rainbow

started on the driverside down pipe. Its made out of 409ss and well be welded off using ER309L [409 accepts higher heat vs 304ss, it wont likely crack like 304 thens to do]
As you can see at the bottom of where it tucks inside the frame it steps up to 4" and at that point the exhaust will be Aluminum
Its hard to see but the DP has little over and 1" of clearance around the steering shaft, this part of the DP will be double wrapped and the master cylinder will have heat shield around it
