I actually have an extra Doug's electric cut-out that I might need to sell off. Not sure if you want two or one but I'll let you know/post it next week.

Nice job getting the truck running. Sounds good. I like this thread as you show all the "real" things that happen during a build not just the end result.
Congrats

Way to get it up and running! Post up pics of the flared fenders and the exhaust work when it's back!

... Kinda looks like it but there was a pretty even mix, there were a few more behind me and a couple way in the back.

(Remind me about the flared fenders later cuz I will most likely forget)

I stopped at the shop this morning and he's got some of it mocked up and more importantly he has the cross-member fabbed up...IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!

Here is the old one for comparison...

And the new one!!

Reason for the new cross-member is because since I'm going with dual exhaust the driver's side couldn't go above the crossmember due to the ABS and wiring harness and other misc stuff. So it would of had to of gone under the tranny crossmember and I only have 6" of ground clearance to begin with on that member, so minus a 3" pipe and a little bit of clearance so the pipe isn't hitting against the cross-member and I would of had about 2.5" of ground clearance from the bottom of my exhaust to the road. So speed bumps would be impossible to go over. So he fabbed up this new crossmember and now I can easily fit this in it!! ...

As you can see it fits mostly flush with the bottom of the frame so the exhaust won't be a low point...

The lowest point of my last truck was the Y-pipe and after too many speed bumps I did end up bending it out of shape so I won't have this problem now! Here is my last set-up and you can see the Y was the first thing that hit when I bottomed out!!

Don't have pictures of much else as of yet but there is the muffler, it's a 2-in-1 Magnaflow, biggest one I could fit in there to try and mute/muffle the exhaust as best I can.

I kinda hope it will be rather quiet with the cut-outs closed so that I can drive it around normally without attracting too much attention. And when I need to I can open the cut-outs and be as loud as can be! Not sure what to do with the dump over the axle but think I'm just gonna dump it at a 45 degree angle towards the rear, and keep it high enough also so it stays hidden.

Great looking crossmember you got there. Can't wait to see the finished project.
Are you going to be running a new F.I setup?
