Started off as a salvaged 2002 5.3 from a Suburban.

-ARP bottom end
-Clevite bearings
-Speed Pro Pistons
-Sealed Power rings
-Ported and Polished 862 heads milled .015 with 3 angle valvejob
-ARP head bolts
-Trickflow .585/.585 lift, 228/230 duration 112lsa
-Trickflow double roller timing chain
-LS6 high volume oil pump
-Comp Cams beehive springs
-LS7 lifters
-Harland Sharp Rocker Arms
-Trickflow pushrods
-LS6 Intake
-Sanderson 1 1/2 Shorty headers
-H3 Alpha oil pan
-10.5:1 compression ratio

Currently broke now lol, but once the funds are back I'll be buying a 4L60E or 700R4 and rebuilding that to mate to the 5.3.

Nice build! Is the pistons stock bore? What part numbers on the piston and rings? Very nice project you have there. Equally bad *** truck! Im in the middle of my 5.3 build as well. I dont have nearly the truck as you do. Mine is 88' Blazer with some issues, but its going in the right direction!
