Problem is out of all my **** this is the most tame and reasonable and so it is the daily. I have the old heads/cam/intake 5.3 that was in my burb sitting in the barn, but I'm not gonna swap it. Unfortunately, buttoning it back up as is with 6psi and dailying it.

 

Oh I get it. Ole reliable.

 

So Pulled the supercharger off and decided to have it rebuilt with a better impeller and bearings for more boost. Figure if I'm gonna do all of this I might as well do it right. It's so slow now though waiting.

What's the turn around on sending back the blower?

 

Being a centrifugal you're never in full boost unless you're at wot 5k rpm. So I figure 8psi there and then just my daily routine I'll be okay.

As for turn around. Well they got it in the mail Monday and they claim I'm getting it back before this coming Monday. Bolting it back to the truck and then welding together my new intake. Same time cutting the cats out and running true dual 2.5 off the headers into a Spintech 8000 and then using my current dual 2.5 tail pipes out of the muffler.

 

Exhaust is in. Dual 2.5 off the shorties into a Spintech 8000 and dual 2.5 out. No cats. No rasp or drone and not too crazy loud. Video was with the rear window open cause the sound deadener in the cab makes it really quiet. Blower comes back in the mail thursday from being upgraded. Welding together the new intake friday.

Changed the plans. Got it running again with a new hat. Pipe is a bit crooked so I ordered an angled peice. ECU has a temporary file in it and this is the lowest boost pulley. Dyno tuning asap.

I rolled into it in 1st gear and then floored it once in 2nd. Need traction bars even with 3.73 gears. Need to get 4.56s in it.
