On the cab side you peel the damaged layers 1 at a time. On the donner side you do the same in reverse. Peel the overhanging sheet metal off the roof, floor, cowl, and rear panel away

Correct I’m cutting out the inner and outer rockers so I can do a partial uniside I’m gonna have to drill out all the spotwelds from the roof floor and rear cab panel .
Little more cleaning (expect a lot more of these post with a little cleaning) got the coil packs and coil rack if that’s what it’s called c

Yep I pulled up my laptop shut each injector off one by one cyl 6 didn’t make a difference . so I felt the injector u can feel it pulse so I pulled the wire it definitely made me rethink that method of checking for spark but it works 🤷🏼*♂️ . I pulled the plug inspected it no cracks shows signs of lean and the strap mark was low . But plug overall was fine so I put that long antenna camera peeper thang in the cylinder and I find a cracked piston 😢

Now I’m in the garage doin the 6.0 swap I’ll be sending driveshaft out Monday for shortening , yoking( is that a term ? It is now ) and then hopefully be tuning the 6.0 4l80 combo by Wednesday or Thursday !
Got the 5.3 out pulled pan off 6.0 got my turbo drain put in I put a o ring and Teflon paste on it think it’ll work ? Or will it leak and I cheeched myself retarded in highschool?
Plan is pull the trans tomo get the 6.0 in . Install the aeromotive regulator and catch can on a bracket haven’t decided how I’m gonna do it but I’ll figure it out .
