My 05 5.3 computer through the Speartech harness controls the trans. All plug and play...just have to swap on the old connector for the VSS if you are using the old style 4L60.

I see a cowl hood there. Any hood clearance issues with the stock hood?

I read back on page 7 I think that you have a set of the shoenfield headers (spelling?) for OBS trucks that you cant use? I know its been close to a year but do you still have them a might want to sell?

Didnt you need signal from the brake switch or anything else?

The stock hood barely touches...if the engine sat about 1/2 inch lower it would be perfect. The motor mount adapter plates I went with from S&P is what made me have this issue. by putting a small dent in the hood bracing in a spot the size of a dime would make the stock hood fit fine, I needed the new hood anyways so I couldn't pass up the steel cowl made by Harwood that I got through summit racing for $290.

No...the brake switch is all hooked into the body harness of the truck with the exception of the cruise wires that get hooked into the Speartech harness as I have a DBW setup.
