Nice mods, when you swapped gears originally did you put a new pinion in the rear end?

I changed ratios so yea, the pinion has to match the ring gear. Maybe I don't understand what you are asking.

I have a lot of respect for you guys who work on your trucks without a lift.

I guess i should have paid more attention and saw that you changed ratios. I was just wondering if you replaced pretty much the whole rear end when you swapped or just the carrier.

Ughh I haven't had time to do much. Well I guess I've been waiting on my 5 lug hubs until yesterday so I wouldn't have been able to work on the truck anyway I was told I was going to have the hubs the week before thanksgiving but that didn't happen. I got all my wheels and tires in and one of the 15" wheels was on a 5x4.5" pattern. Found that out after I had it mounted and balanced. So kind of a frustrating deal all the way around with the new parts.

Anyways, I got the new wheel in and mounted today. I redrilled the front rotors last night and got the hubs installed. So I'm officially 5 lug now. Tonight was the first time with all the wheels and tires on the truck and I like how it looks. I'll get some pics in the morning when it's light out.

Well today I was putting up christmas lights and forgot to take some pics of the truck. I'm on the fence about the rear wheels. I really like the 17's up front but the 15x8's in the rear just don't do it for me just yet. They would look good with a fatter tire on there but no body makes one. Maybe it will grow on me when I get the flip kit installed. Not sure if the tire will look bigger with a lower stance.

Right now I'm thinking about ordering some 17x9.5's for the rear but I need to look into tire options first. I have issues

Can someone answer this stupid question. I can't find my stock shackles anywhere and I'm wondering what the dimensions are from eyelet to eyelet. I'm wondering if the belltech shackles have the provision for stock height or will I have to find stock ones somewhere?
