Default New magnaflows on the way for the 5.9.

I just ordered some 12246 magnaflows for my Dodge Ram with the mildly cammed and bolt on 5.9 I swapped in a few years back. At the moment it has tuned length pacesetters with true dual catless exhaust with cutouts and into 40 series 2 chamber flowmasters single 3" in and dual 2.5" out. Thats right it currently has four dumps between the cab and bed. Loud as hell in the cab but not too bad outside and sounds really good. Selling my flowmasters to install the Magnaflows which are 18" long bodywise with dimensions of 5"x8" and single 2.5" in/out. Its going to be some quieter outside and hopefully a lot quieter inside. They should be coming in the mail soon. Trying to decide to dump them again or run the exhuast out the side but make it not visible. Just have to wait and see how it fits i guess.

I have magnaflows on my silvy 6.0 and even tho there is no comparison between the trucks the silvy is so quiet in the cab and so loud outside when reving that the dodge cant help but benefit I think. plus a smaller pipe and two less dumps. im thinking change can be good if thought out well. haha

Got the new maggies installed today. Doing exhaust work in 115 degree weather with 90 percent humidity has to be similar to hell. Anyway they are waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy quieter and smoother than the flowmasters. Going to take some getting used to. But now I dont cringe when I press the go pedal a little more than needed. Drones a little at idle but some dumps or side outlets in front of the rear wheels should fix that. I think the smaller maggies would have done what I wanted but I got these for the same price and now the truck will be a little better for longer trips and such. If i want it real loud ill just uncork the cutouts....
