Update! I have finally gotten my short block back from the machine shop.
After finding a broken ring in the piston box, I had to contact the place that I bought them from and get a replacement one sent out. After waiting for a week, (because the shipped it to the wrong address) I finally got it yesterday and brought it to the machine shop this morning. Then I went back on my lunch break and picked everything up
As far as parts go, I have the cam, timing chain, misc plugs for the block, and all of the hardware, just waiting on the oil pump, lifters, crank bolt, and gaskets to be delivered tomorrow, and the nice set of heads I got a deal on should be in on Monday. More pics later today.
One step closer.

Are those Comp LSr lobes...or EPS maybe? I like those specs, should have great street manners in an LQ9 and a good set of heads will love those lift numbers. With the right tuning I'll bet that you'll barely be able to even tell that it's cammed
It's looking great Steve-O, keep up the good work!

Got the crank in and torqued down and checked the clearances. Also put in the cam in. Going to get the pistons and rods in tomorrow after work. Had to wait to get my piston ring compressor back from a friend that borrowed it. I'll get pics up in a little while. So far, progress.
