LOL, cam is advanced, changing the turbo drain system now. But with two part time jobs and one full time, I'm having a hard time getting to work on it. Hope to have it up and running be friday...

I hate my 4l80e right now because of boost lag. I didn't have any boost lag with 4l60e. So let know what happens.

Holy crap that cam does have late timing. You're having a cylinder filling issue that really only the boost and some rpm can fill. With your compression and a small cam like you have it should be great. I would have a cam ground with better valve timing and that should fix it. I agree that the tall first gear and the large turbo make for a slow spool. Lots of load helps spool, but rpm moves more air and helps it more which is why the 60E helps spool time. A 2 step will likely help, but not so much on the street.

Thats why I'm advancing the cam, it should help, but I'm not expecting much. and a two step might have to be ordered. I'm welding the new drain today. hopfully early next week the truck will be up and running.
