Default Twinning! My '88 Twin PT7275 418 Build

Evening, name is Jeremy, from Baton Rouge, La

I've had this truck since I was 18 and have slowly been shaping it into what I want. Now that i'm graduated and work full time I have the power to get it where I'd really like it to be.

This is how it looked the first day I got it home.

This is the first motor and the current motor still in it.

The best time to date with a welded diff is 12.97 @ 110 with a 1.8 60'

This is how it looks today.

I am still in the buying parts stages, but the bottom end will be completed with a DragonSlayer crank and I-beam rods. I don't know what power levels I am shooting for yet or what kind of software I'll be tuning with.

I am open to suggestions and critique. I'll update this as much as I can as time progresses.

Thanks!

That sounds cool, the wheel/tire combo was a purchase from Jegs. I'm not sure if they still sell it, but it is a 15x4 front wheel and a 15x8 rear wheel. Front tires are M/T Sportsman S/R Radial 26 x 6.0-15'' and the rear tire is M/T ET Street Radial Drag 275 x 60-15''

I'll have more pics soon, rods should be here by the end of the week as well as valves for the heads. After the rods surface it'll get put together; downhill from there.

I got a set of suburban headers too, i'll be flipping upside down, cutting off the flange and welding v-bands to. Then the mock-up for the turbo system will start.

Nice looking truck, should be a beast once you get the new combo in there.

No, the only other forum i'm apart of s10 wise is v8s10.org and I don't get on there much cause that's mostly northern guys.

As for how everything is going to fit, doesn't really have me worried. I'm going to clock the turbos and have the headers bolt to the turbo sideways and run the exhaust down the outside of the frame rails.

These 1st gen s10's have all the room in the world.
